DO I have to dance/be standing the entire event?
Nope! We understand that your own health conditions may prevent dancing or standing for 8 hours straight so you are welcome to take a break when necessary however, we do encourage you to prepare so you can dance/stand as long as possible to honor our Miracle Kids (visit 'How to Prepare' for tips).
Do I Have to be a good dancer to come to the event? what if i don't like to dance?
'Bad Dancing Saves Lives! ' Everyone is welcome from any skill level and please remember our event is not about the dancing, it's about the Miracle Kids and their families! While we will have a dance floor and a silent disco area, we also will have games, a bounce house, guest performances, and many other activities for you to participate in besides dancing.
is it okay to join if i am not in a group?
Absolutely! If possible, we encourage you to ask a few friends to join you because it is always fun to fundraise with a team, but by the end of the event you will have made many new friends with other dancers so it is not essential! This year, we have several general themed teams you are welcome to join or feel free to join as a single dancer for now and you can still join a team later.
how much should i fundraise?
The amount is completely up to you and how much time/effort you are willing to put into fundraising (visit our 'Fundraising Tips' page for help). Any amount is helpful and appreciated to support our families!
